Nelson McLain

Nelson F. McLain, 39, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 5, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, son of John W. and Antoinette Whittaker McLain.

McLain was an Eagle Scout, a graduate of Cape Central High School and a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rickie L. and Melissa McLain of Cape Girardeau; Wade W. and Jan McLain of St. Louis; three nephews, John McLain, Brandon and Brady Cramer of Cape Girardeau; three nieces, Kristen McLain of Cape Girardeau, Megan and Natalie McLain of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell McLain, Sept. 16, 1990.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau.
