NELLIE P. ROSS

SIKESTON -- Nellie P. Ross, 87, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 1994, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born March 6, 1907, in Bernie, daughter of Joseph Warren and Ellen Dodson Sanders. She and Luther T. Ross were married Oct. 25, 1925, at Parma.

Ross was an ordained minister and previously was pastor of the Church of Jesus Christ Pentecost Church in Sikeston. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church here.

Ross and her husband were foster parents more than 40 years.

Survivors include her husband; foster children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Billie Butler officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
