PERRYVILLE -- Nellie Mae Hunt, 77, of Perryville, died Monday, Oct. 16, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born April 25, 1918, in Ste. Genevieve, daughter of Edward J. and Mamie Grieshaber Hunt. Hunt was a registered nurse, and had worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary. She served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during World War II...

PERRYVILLE -- Nellie Mae Hunt, 77, of Perryville, died Monday, Oct. 16, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born April 25, 1918, in Ste. Genevieve, daughter of Edward J. and Mamie Grieshaber Hunt.

Hunt was a registered nurse, and had worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary. She served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during World War II.

Survivors include three nieces, Dorothy Thornton of St. Louis, Sharon Winston of Kansas, Maureen Welker of Perryville; two great-nieces and a great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-9:45 a.m. The parish wake is at 6:45 tonight, and the American Legion wake is at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Valle Springs Cemetery at Ste. Genevieve.
