NELLIE G. GRANTHAM

PERRYVILLE -- Nellie Grace Grantham, 91, of Perryville, died Monday, July 31, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 6, 1903, in Bollinger County, daughter of Charles and Ann Halbrook Goldsmith. She and Rayford Grantham were married Nov. 14, 1928. He died Feb. 9, 1971.

Grantham was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 46.

Survivors include three daughters, Irma Parson of Silver Creek, N.Y., Ann Loberg of Denver, Colo., Shirley Castle of Gilbertsville, Ky.; three sons, Donald Grantham of St. Louis, Delbert Grantham of Houston, Texas, Stanley Grantham of Perryville; 12 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Thursday after 6:30 a.m. An Eastern Star wake will be held tonight at 7.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
