Nelda R. Palisch, 90, of Altenburg, Missouri, died Aug. 1, 2014, at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, Missouri.
She was born Jan. 14, 1924, in New Wells, Missouri, daughter of Edward G. and Margaret Tiedeman Perr. She and Edgar O. Palisch were married June 16, 1946. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1993.
Mrs. Palisch was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Altenburg, VFW Auxiliary Post 4282, and Altenburg Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include two sons, Allen E. (Gayle) Palisch of Effingham, Illinois, and Donald E. (Linda) Palisch of Altenburg; one daughter, Karen F. Lukefahr of Altenburg; one brother, George Perr of Jackson; one sister, Melva Leimbach of Pocahontas, Missouri; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter-in-law, Judith; one sister, Rosa Enke; and one brother, Wilbert Perr.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.
She will then be taken to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg for service at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Mike Gallagher officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church-Altenburg.
