BENTON -- Nebraska B. Key, 70, of Benton, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 1994, at Vencor Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born April 28, 1923, at Conran, son of Nebraska B. and Matilda Harrington Key. He and Anita Cobb were married Feb. 20, 1974, in St. Louis.
Key owned and operated Key's Cleaners. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans in Cape Girardeau. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jack Rainey of Kokomo, Ind.; three daughters, Judy Porter of Kokomo, Geneva Wilson of Ozark, Kathleen Nielsen of Batavia, Ill.; two stepsons, Gene McCall of Milwaukee, Wis., Billy McCall of Chicago; a stepdaughter, Debby Presson of Georgetown, Texas; a brother, Thomas Key of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Bronie Broyles of Fulton, Ky., Herline Maness of Lexington, Tenn., Sylvania Poole of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Jim Smith will officiate, with burial in Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
