PERRYVILLE -- Nathan H. Weiss, 83, of Perryville died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at Missouri Veterans Home. He was born April 7, 1915, in Perryville, son of Henry F. and Helena Schott Weiss. He and Adella Bohnert were married Oct. 5, 1940. She died Jan. 18, 1996...

PERRYVILLE -- Nathan H. Weiss, 83, of Perryville died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at Missouri Veterans Home.

He was born April 7, 1915, in Perryville, son of Henry F. and Helena Schott Weiss. He and Adella Bohnert were married Oct. 5, 1940. She died Jan. 18, 1996.

Weiss had been an inspector with Rockwell International. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Western Catholic Union. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Henry Weiss of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Marilyn Barks of Cape Girardeau, Kathleen Willis of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Helen Morgan of Perryville; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and three stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-10:40 a.m. A wake is set at 7 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Richard Lause officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
