Naomi B. Williams, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born Oct. 27, 1909, in Pollard, Ark., daughter of Robert Lee and Mary Ann Rich Braden. She first married W.H. Little in September 1927, at Benton. He died in 1951. She then married Joseph Reddick in 1951 in Piggott, Ark. He died in 1959. She later married John F. Williams in 1962 in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1989.
Williams was a professional seamstress and taught at Singer Sewing Co. several years. She was the first piece goods manager at Rust and Martin; and was the first bridal salon manager at Rust and Martin, a position she held 22 years. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church, and former member of Business and Professional Women's Club.
Survivors include a son, Bob Little of Poplar Bluff; three daughters, Janet Luttrell and Betty Reddick of Cape Girardeau, Ruth Dolle of Poplar Bluff; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, six brothers, six sisters, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
