SCOTT CITY -- Naomi Tharp, 72, of Scott City died Sunday, April 28, 1996, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 10, 1923, in Illmo, the daughter of Joe and Bessie Goddard Tharp.
She had worked as a seamstress at Thorngate in Chaffee and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
Survivors include her stepmother, Helen Tharp of Scott City; two brothers, Joe Tharp of Florissant and Dave Tharp of Lake of the Ozarks; three half-brothers, Charles Tharp of Florissant, Paul Tharp of St. Louis and Kenneth Tharp of Lee's Summit; and a sister, Georgia Wynne of Blanchard, Wis.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce.
