SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Naomi Inez Miller, 88, of Scott City died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 19, 1913, at Grays Point, Mo., daughter of George William and Ambie Selena Bennett Keesee. She and Ralph Miller were married March 28, 1934, in Jonesboro, Ill. He died Dec. 12, 1995.
Mrs. Miller owned and operated Naomi's Beauty Shop. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Annette Miller of Pine Bluff, Ark., Gary and Gail Miller of Sheridan, Ark., Dr. Paul and Kristy Miller of Quincy, Ill.; a daughter and son-in-law, Selena and Roy Hartle Sr. of Scott City; and a sister, Elva Habum of Scott City.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Pamela Hendrix of Pine Bluff, Bradley Miller of Tucson, Ariz., David Miller of Clarksville, Tenn., Charles Miller of Antioch, Calif., Jennifer Miller of Sheridan, Matthew Miller of Sheridan, Jason Miller of Baltimore, Md., Soloman Miller of Quincy, Micah Miller of Quincy, Roy Hartle Jr. of Scott City, Greg Hartle of Scott City; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The Revs. Larry Lawman, Vester Keesee and Charles Lance will officiate. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Miller, Charles Miller, Matthew Miller, Jason Miller, Roy Hartle Jr. and Greg Hartle.
