BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Naomi Lee Lucey of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Jerry Pennington will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Mike Huffman. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.

Lucey, 78, died Sunday, March 20, 1994, at the home of a son.

She was born July 1, 1915, at Lilbourn, daughter of Henry and Leona Sanders Moyers. She and the Rev. William H. "Jack" Lucey were married May 18, 1935. He died Dec. 28, 1972.

Formerly of the Essex area, she had resided in Bloomfield since 1978. She was a long time member of Garden Ridge General Baptist Church near Bell City, but attended Walker General Baptist Church near Bloomfield.

Survivors include a son, Herman Lucey of Jackson; a daughter, Joyce Coomer of St. Charles; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and five great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a granddaughter.
