CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Naomi Bowman Glenn, 76, of Charleston, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, at her home.
Born March 20, 1925, in Dardanelle, Ark., she was the daughter of John and Rosa Lee Cossey Bowman.
On Feb. 12, 1946, she was married to James A. Glenn, who died April 7, 1993.
Glenn had lived in Charleston most of her life and was a member of the auxiliary for VFW. She worked for several years as a beautician at Freda's Beauty Shop in East Prairie, Mo.
Survivors include a son, Steve Glenn of Scott City, Mo.; two daughters, Robin Seabaugh of Charleston and Cathy Hensley of St. Charles, Mo.; two brothers, Haskell Bowman of Wyatt, Mo., and Paul Bowman of Paducah, Ky.; three sisters, Rachel Elam of Houston, Texas, Betty Dunning of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Margaret Reese of Paducah; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jon Archie officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
