Naomi Lee Crites, 82, of Jackson died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at her home.
She was born April 24, 1931, in Jackson, to Webster Clyde and Ada Belle Robinson Smith. She married Earl Crites Jr., who died Oct. 7, 1998.
Naomi was a graduate of Jackson High School. She then worked at the former Jackson Exchange Bank and International Shoe Co. in Jackson. She also worked as a bookkeeper at Otasco in Cape Girardeau until she retired. After retiring from Otasco, she worked at Wal-Mart in Jackson. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
She is survived by a daughter, Vanita Lee Crites of Jackson; a brother, Joe Smith of Jackson; three sisters, Jean Seabaugh and Mary Marshall of Jackson and Vicki Statler of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Erma and Thelma; and a great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Church, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating.
