NANCY CARROLL

PERRYVILLE -- Nancy A. Carroll, 99, of Indian Lake, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998, at her home.

She was born Oct. 16, 1899, in Summersville, daughter of James Catlett and Rachael Isabell Bond Moore. She first married Arthur F. Valleroy of Perryville Aug. 7, 1921. He died July 24, 1966. She later married John P. Carroll in 1970. He died in February 1976.

Carroll was a retired seamstress. She was a member of First Church of God in Harlingen, Texas, where she was pianist many years.

Survivors include a son, James Valleroy; a daughter, Willette Parker, both of Indian Lake; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four sisters, and a brother.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10 a.m. until service time.
