CHARLESTON -- Nadia Commenecai Haynes, 6, was dead on arrival Saturday, Feb. 27, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 5, 1986, in Rockford, Ill., daughter of Elliott and Landell Haynes Turner. She was a student at New Dawn State School in Sikeston.

Survivors include her parents; four sisters, Jalisa Haynes and Sarafina Turner of Charleston, Michelle Turner of St. Louis, Shartoia Turner of Sikeston; maternal grandparents, Joe and Luvina Haynes of Charleston; paternal grandmother, Lucille Turner of Haywood City; maternal great-grandfather, Joe McCray of Charleston; paternal great-grandparents, Snap and Alnalia Turner of Haywood City.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mark Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wiley Reed officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 3-7 p.m. Thursday.
