MYRTLE WANETTA WEIBRECHT

PERRYVILLE -- Myrtle Wanetta Weibrecht, 71, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1994, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

Weibrecht was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Crosstown to August and Esther Maintz Cox. On April 9, 1939, she married Edmund W. Weibrecht. He died on Aug. 28.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Perryville.

Survivors include five sons, Glennon, Stanley, James and Kenneth Weibrecht of Perryville, and Allen Weibrecht of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Doris Stueve and Penny Thompson of Perryville, and Marilyn Stortz of Shawneetown; a sister, Edith Bohnert of Perryville; 32 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville today from 4-9 p.m. today and Thursday from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
