JACKSON -- Myrtle M. Dalton, 89, of Jackson died Monday, May 2, 1994, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 21, 1904, in Jackson, daughter of Henry F. and Annie Taylor Dalton.
Surviving is one brother, John W. Dalton of St. Louis.
Three brothers preceded her in death.
She taught elementary school in Cape Girardeau County for a number of years. She managed the former Dalton Grocery in Jackson. She was financial secretary and treasurer at new McKendree United Methodist Church for 25 years, retiring in 1977.
She taught Sunday school, and was a member of Wesleyan Service Group and Eastside Homemakers Club.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at McCombs Funeral Chapel with the Rev. O. David Griffin and the Rev. Otto Steinhaus officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
