JACKSON -- Myrtle L. Suffern, 81, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1994, at Jackson Manor.

She was born May 7, 1913, in Virginia, Ill. She married Howard Suffern, who died in March 1962.

Suffern was a registered nurse, specializing in ventilation therapy. She moved to Jackson in 1984 from Provo, Utah.

Survivors include a son, William Suffern of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Irene Boatman of Pasadena, Texas, Carrie Dyer of Belton, Sarah Trenter of Beardstown, Ill.; nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, daughter and brother.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 9-11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
