DONGOLA, ILL. Myrtle Belle Dillow, 79, of Dongola died Nov. 8,. 1992, at her home in Dongola.
She was born Sept. 26, 1913, to Harvey and Blanche Dickerson Scronce. She was married to William G. Dillow Aug. 19, 1933.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, James Dillow of Shannon, Ill., Gary (Pee Wee) Dillow of Olive Branch and Bing Dillow of Dongola; five daughters, Marcella McCommons, Lula Belle Tripp, Shirley Simmerman, all of Dongola, and Pat Webb and Joyce Poole, both of Anna; 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Alberta Hileman of Cape Girardeau and Irma Moreland of Jonesboro; and four brothers, Jess Scronce of Elco, Paul Scronce of Anna, David Scronce of Jonesboro, and Lester Scronce of Eletha, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
Vistation from 5-9 p.m. Monday.
