GRAND TOWER, Ill. -- Myra L. Davis, 90, of Grand Tower, formerly of Anna, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, in Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Union County, daughter of Willis and Bertha King Wilson. She and Henry N. Davis were married June 18, 1932, in Wolf Lake, Ill. He died June 12, 1971.
Davis was a member of Jonesboro Pentecostal Church in Jonesboro, Ill.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Henson of Grand Tower, Betty Zimmerman of Anna; a son, George Davis of Riverside, Calif.; a sister, Gladys Land of Jonesboro; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson and a great-grandson.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Jonesboro Pentecostal Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Revs. Herbert Wilson and Bill Carter officiating. Burial will be in Valley Mission Cemetery.
