Anna Murriel Bone, 89, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center North.
She was born Sept. 29, 1915, at Millersville, daughter of Ora Odie and Myrtle Huff Stearns. She and Eldon K. Bone were married Jan. 9, 1938. He died Jan. 13, 1984.
The Bones owned and operated the Idan-Ha Hotel in Cape Girardeau from the 1940s to the 1960s. She was then a baker 16 years at Mr. C's IGA. She was a graduate of Perryville High School. Bone was a former member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Ken Bone of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Linda Grimes of Southaven, Miss., Brenda Lapp of Barnett, Mo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Hale officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
