MURL MACK HILL

THEBES, Ill. -- Murl Mack Hill, 39, of Thebes died Tuesday, March 3, 1992, at his home after a six-month battle with leukemia.

He was born April 5, 1952 in Cape Girardeau, the son of Murle and Pearl Hale Hill. They both survive of Herrin, Ill.

He was married on April 5, 1974 to Charlotte Snell, who survives of Thebes.

He was a member of Labor Local 773 at Cairo, Ill.

Surviving, besides his wife and parents, are one son, Eric Hill of Thebes; a daughter, Kara Hill of Thebes; four brothers, Stefen Hill of Tulsa, Okla., Kenny Hill of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., Dwayne Hill of Herrin, and Loyd Tipsword of Scott City; and two sisters, Arvilla Bowman of Milan, Ill., and Melissa Miller of Herrin.

Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Carl D. Fisher and the Rev. Jimmie Monahan officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
