JACKSON - Mrs. Dorothy R. Brown, 83, died Saturday April 4, 1992 at her home in Jackson. She was born Sept. 29, 1908 in Fulton County, Ky., the daughter of William H. and Frances Carter Leiman. JACKSON - Mrs. Dorothy R. Brown, 83, died Saturday April 4, 1992 at her home in Jackson. She was born Sept. 29, 1908 in Fulton County, Ky., the daughter of William H. and Frances Carter Leiman.

She had lived in St. Louis for many years, moving to Jackson in the early 1980s. While in the St. Louis area she worked as a private duty LPN.

Survivors include a son, Harold Brown of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. Christine Lindley of Joplin; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

She was a member of the Rolling Fields Baptist Church in Jackson.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. Graveside rites will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery on Lucas Hunt Road in St. Louis.
