PUXICO -- Funeral for Morris McLean of Puxico will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Marshall Link will officiate, with burial in Puxico Cemetery.

McLean, 72, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

He was born Jan. 4, 1926, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Don J. and Sarah J. Decker McLean. He and Mary Shadowens were married June 8, 1946.

McLean moved to Puxico in 1937 from Arkansas. He retired from the maintenance division of Missouri Department of Transportation. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Puxico.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Rickey McLean of Puxico; three daughters, Janie Millspaugh of French Lick, Ind., Ginger Hendrix and Robin Kaiser of Puxico; two brothers, Woodrow McLean and Grover "Bub" Waller of Puxico; two sisters, Margaret Henthorne of Poplar Bluff, Geneva Clark of Puxico; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
