MINNIE POOLE

TAMMS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Minnie Faye Poole of Tamms will be held at 1 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms. The Rev. Johnnie Gibson will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.

Poole, 71, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born Oct. 28, 1925, at Tamms, daughter of James and Amanda Fleener Benefield. She married Harley W. "Buddy" Poole.

Poole retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Anna in 1985. She attended the Pentecostal Church in Elco.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Virgil Benefield of Sandwich; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, son, and granddaughter.
