She was born Dec. 17, 1913, at Bertrand, daughter of R.W. and Nancy J. Caraker Patrick. Formerly of Cape Girardeau, she moved to Somerville in 1985.

Survivors include a daughter, Antoinette Haman of St. Louis; a son, Donald Farmer of Memphis, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren.
