Minnie E. Diefenbach, 93, of Jackson died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Monticello House.
She was born Nov. 24, 1918, in Tilsit, to William H. and Louise Sebastian Zimmer. She and Walter J. Diefenbach were married May 20, 1951.
Minnie graduated from Jackson High School. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson, its LWML, Ladies Guild, was a former Sunday school teacher and a shut-in visitor several years. She was a former member of the PTA. She worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson 50 years.
Survivors include her husband, Walter of Jackson; a daughter, Martha (Stanley) Koeller of Jackson; 10 grandchildren, Anthony (Amy) Koeller, Jennifer (Drew) Pruneda, Jessica (Justin) Braun, Frederick (Debbi) Koeller, Amanda (Larry Jr.) Calhoun, Jacob Koeller, David (Jennifer) Koeller; Jeffrey, Jeremy, Rebecca Koeller; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and an infant; and a sister, Clara.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
