PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Milton K. "Bud" Ziegler, 83, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus, Mo. He was born Sept. 27, 1921, at Ste. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Milton K. "Bud" Ziegler, 83, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus, Mo.

He was born Sept. 27, 1921, at Ste. Genevieve, Mo., son of Louis J. and Leona Hoffman Ziegler.

Ziegler was a farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Arnold Ziegler; a daughter, Ann Dorothy Sitzes of Jackson; three sons, Frank Ziegler of Fenton, Mo., Ken Ziegler of Pocahontas, Ark., Raymond Ziegler of Ste. Genevieve; a half sister, Louise Enke of Perryville; a half brother, Tom Ziegler of French Village, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church in Crosstown, Mo. The Rev. William Thess will officiate, with graveside military honors by American Legion Post 133.
