FROHNA -- Milton C. Engert, 71, of Frohna died Saturday, May 25, 1991, at his home. He was born Oct. 18, 1919 in Altenburg, the son of Theo and Lydia Grossze Engert. On June 14, 1947, he married Marguerite Starzinger, who survives. He was a retired farmer and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg. He also was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army...

FROHNA -- Milton C. Engert, 71, of Frohna died Saturday, May 25, 1991, at his home.

He was born Oct. 18, 1919 in Altenburg, the son of Theo and Lydia Grossze Engert. On June 14, 1947, he married Marguerite Starzinger, who survives.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg. He also was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army.

Other survivors include two sons, Bruce Engert of Frohna and Kevin Engert of Uniontown; a brother, Edward Engert of Oak Ridge; a sister, Marguerite Degenhardt of Altenburg; and four grandchildren.

A brother and sister also preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be today at 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg. The Rev. Paul Lohnes will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation was after 5 p.m. Monday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.
