SIKESTON -- Milton A. "Butch" Brashears, 45, of Malden, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 21, 1948, in Sikeston, son of Henry "Hank" Brashears and Alfreda Oldham Brashears. Brashears was a 1966 graduate of Sikeston High School, and was employed 20 years by the city of Sikeston. He was a member of Kimball Baptist Church in Malden, Sikeston Elks Lodge and Lions Club...

SIKESTON -- Milton A. "Butch" Brashears, 45, of Malden, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 21, 1948, in Sikeston, son of Henry "Hank" Brashears and Alfreda Oldham Brashears.

Brashears was a 1966 graduate of Sikeston High School, and was employed 20 years by the city of Sikeston. He was a member of Kimball Baptist Church in Malden, Sikeston Elks Lodge and Lions Club.

Survivors include his mother of Malden, and a sister, Carolyn Higdon of Oakland, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Billie Butler and Gene Lancaster officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
