PUXICO -- Millie Quick, 68, of Puxico died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at Puxico Nursing Center.
He was born Jan. 29, 1932, at Bloomfield, son of Merly and Cleo Wilson Quick. He and Luetta Lizenbee were married July 5, 1958, at Bloomfield. She died Oct. 25, 1999.
Quick was a retired farmer and worked 30 years at Elder Manufacturing Co. He attended the Methodist Church in Acorn Ridge and was a member of AmVets.
He lived at Acorn Ridge 34 years, moving to Puxico in 1997. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Lizenbee and Steve Quick of Puxico; two daughters, Janet Autry of Kennett, Teresa Powell of Puxico; three sisters, Elsie Buttry of Bernie, Viola Ross and Mildred Rainey of Dexter; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Wayne Burchett and Dan Montgomery will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.
