SIKESTON, Mo. -- Funeral Mass for Mildred Louise "Millie" Fama of Sikeston will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen A. Schneider will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn.
Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Fama, 78, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at her home.
She was born July 31, 1923, in Corning, Ark., daughter of Charles Raymond and Mabel Rennick Williams Jr. She and Dominic A. "Nick" Fama were married May 14, 1942.
Fama had been a nanny in St. Louis. She was a member of St. Francis Church and its Altar Sodality, and had been a Cub Scout den mother.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary and Tim Fama of Memphis; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
