MILLARD MANSELL

CHAFFEE -- Millard Mansell, 87, Chaffee Route 1, died Wednesday, May 19, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 16, 1906, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., son of Charles Robert and Minnie Louise Hency Mansell. He and Ethel Griffith were married Nov. 16, 1927. She preceded him in death. He later married Audrey LeGrand April 27, 1961. She also preceded him in death.

Mansell was a retired maintenance man with Texas Eastern Pipeline at Oran.

Survivors include two stepsons, Melvin and Roy Baker of Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Paul Mansell, Chaffee Route 1; two sisters, Amy McBride of St. James, and Myrtle Spooler, Chaffee Route 1.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Jack Bishop will officiate, with burial in Friend Cemetery at Oran.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
