DAISY -- Funeral service for Milford T. Moore, Daisy Route 1, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Don Estes will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9-11 a.m.

Moore, 72, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1992, near his home.

He was born Nov. 28, 1919, at Daisy, son of Thomas and Chlola Statler Moore. He and Letha Kester were married April 28, 1951.

Moore worked in the maintenance department at International Shoe Co. in Jackson and Cape Girardeau, retiring in 1985 from the Cape Girardeau plant. He also farmed in the Daisy area. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a life member of Caney Fork Baptist Church at Daisy, member of Altenthal-Joerns American Legion Post 158 and VFW Post 10495.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Karen Blattner and Karla Dolan of Jackson, Kathy Lintner of Perryville; a sister, Mildred Thompson of Tucson, Ariz., and six grandchildren.
