Milford M. Cook, 69, of 105 Green Acres, died Friday, May 13, 1994, at the Missouri Veterans Home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1925, at Marquand, son of Dock and Ida Stevens Cook.
He married Amanda Tripp, Oct. 24, 1942, at Jackson. She died Sept. 12, 1967. He then married Viola Cole Webb, Dec. 27, 1968.
Cook was a route salesman for Midwest Dairy Company and the Bunny Bread Company.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
Cook was a member of the VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau, the retired Teamsters Local 574 and the Third Street United Methodist Church.
He was a graduate of Marquand High School.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edward Cook of Atlanta, Ga., Doyle Cook of Balgownie, N.S.W. Australia; a step-son, John Webb of Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Roberta Seabaugh of Oak Ridge; a step-daughter, Karen McClendon of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Medford Cook of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Emogene Wagganer of Fredericktown, Geneva Stephens of Lonedell; six grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Moon officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
