Mildred P. Williams, 90, of Jackson died Friday, March 11, 2016, at Monticello House.

She was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Sedgewickville, Missouri, to Emerson and Nancy Jane Seabaugh. She and H. Glenn Williams were married Dec. 22, 1945. He died May 12, 2014.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson, and was active in the women's groups and Senior Adult Activities.

When her children were young, she was very involved in their activities.

She graduated from Jackson High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University.

She taught school at Cane Creek School.

She was a secretary for Dale Davault Insurance Agency.

She is survived by a son, G. Kirk Williams; a daughter, Gaye (Len) Swan, all of Jackson; a granddaughter, Gaye Lynn (Col. Ronald Henry USAF Ret.) of Wildwood, Missouri; and two great-grandsons, Brendan and Collin Henry of Columbia, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law Marybeth Williams; two brothers, her twin, Milford Seabaugh and Woodrow Seabaugh; and a sister, Ollie Friedrich.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home-Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Grant F.C. Gillard officiating. Private burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church of Jackson, First Presbyterian Church of Jackson or Jackson High School Foundation.

The family would like to thank everyone at the Monticello House for the love and care given to Mildred and Glenn during their stay.
