Mildred Ilene Watson, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born March 7, 1929, in Jonesboro, Ill., daughter of William M. and Maggie A. Miller Norris. She and Otis "Harold" Watson were married March 7, 1963, in Cape Girardeau.

Watson was a welder 25 years at Davis Electric, retiring in 1975 to become a housewife.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Della D. and Gary Lukow of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Fred Norris of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Brandy N. and husband James Trickey II and John B. Lukow of Cape Girardeau; three great-grandchildren, Gage M. and Greta L. Shipman, Gracen L. Trickey, all of Cape Girardeau; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southeast Hospice, or St. Louis Regional Chapter of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association.
