Mildred Lydia Uelsmann, 106, of Scott City died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 16, 1906, in Scott City, to Daniel F.A. and Pauline Will Eifert. She married Elmer John Uelsmann on Nov. 2, 1924. He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 1974.
Mildred was a machine operator at Ely Walker. She was a lifelong member of Eisleben Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons-in-law, Bob Hensley of Scott City and Bob Bray of Conroe, Texas; a sister, Elsie Eifert of Scott City; two granddaughters, Marsha Fehr of Scott City and Sandra (Dominic) McCarthy of Conroe; two grandsons, Steve (Nancy) Bray of Garfield, Ark., and Bruce (Laura) Bray of San Antonio; three great-grandchildren, Heather Ingvalson, Hailey Simmers and Sean Bray; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two daughters, Barbara Hensley and Elma Jean Bray; three brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Eisleben Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Marty Hasz officiating. Burial will be in Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery.
