Mildred Thiele
Mildred Gertrude Thiele, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Hickory Grove, Mo., daughter of William and Barbara Huffman Ross. She and Paul Eugene "Gene" Thiele were married Jan. 14, 1936, in Marble Hill, Mo. He died in 1999...
Mildred Gertrude Thiele, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Dec. 11, 1917, in Hickory Grove, Mo., daughter of William and Barbara Huffman Ross. She and Paul Eugene "Gene" Thiele were married Jan. 14, 1936, in Marble Hill, Mo. He died in 1999.
Thiele was an Avon sales representative 25 years. She and her husband sang many years at various area nursing homes.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Poston of St. Louis, Joyce Higgs of Perryville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Allen officiating. Burial will be in Barks Chapel Cemetery at Crump.
