Mildred Trucks Schwettman, 94, of Hollister, Mo., formerly of Scott City, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at Point Lookout Health Care in Hollister. She was born May 18, 1911, in St. Louis, daughter of William and Bessie Granaman. She first married Clyde Trucks March 16, 1929. He died Jan. 22, 1967. She then married Guy E. "Red" Schwettman Oct. 17, 1970. He died April 9, 1985...

Mildred Trucks Schwettman, 94, of Hollister, Mo., formerly of Scott City, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at Point Lookout Health Care in Hollister.

She was born May 18, 1911, in St. Louis, daughter of William and Bessie Granaman. She first married Clyde Trucks March 16, 1929. He died Jan. 22, 1967. She then married Guy E. "Red" Schwettman Oct. 17, 1970. He died April 9, 1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Ginger Clifford of Branson, Mo., Martha Fisher of Alton, Ill.; three sisters, Madeline Curtis, Hazel Huff and Esther Shelton, all of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Todd Greiner officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
