JACKSON -- Mildred Pauline Ruesler, 80, of Jackson, died Thursday, March 14, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 15, 1916, at Perryville, daughter of Herbert and Hedwig Frentzel Klaus. She and Edmund "Bud" Ruesler were married April 29, 1934, at Uniontown. He died July 28, 1988...

JACKSON -- Mildred Pauline Ruesler, 80, of Jackson, died Thursday, March 14, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 15, 1916, at Perryville, daughter of Herbert and Hedwig Frentzel Klaus. She and Edmund "Bud" Ruesler were married April 29, 1934, at Uniontown. He died July 28, 1988.

Ruesler was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church at Uniontown and charter member of its Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She moved to Jackson in 1978 and became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Kermit Ruesler of Memphis, Tenn.; a daughter, Dolores Myer of Jackson; two brothers, Quentin Klaus of Perryville, Dean Hecht of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Shirley Lardizabal of St. Charles, Ill., Evelyn Soehlig of St. Louis; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
