ELCO, Ill. -- The funeral for Mildred Pierce of Hernando, Fla., will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Elco Methodist Church. The Rev. John Clark will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Crain Funeral Home of Tamms, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
Pierce, 84, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at her home.
She was born May 26, 1918, in Elco, daughter of Eugene and Eulah Mae Greer Jordan. She first married Cletus Coffey and then Homer Pierce.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Walsh of Lima, Ohio; two sons, Bob Coffey of Lima, Mike Coffey of Dunnellon, Fla.; a brother, Donald Jordan of Tamms; two sisters, Martha Kaufman of Tulsa, Okla., and Sue Mowery of Tamms.
She was preceded in death by both husbands and three brothers.
