MILDRED MILLER

CHARLESTON -- Mildred "Memie" Miller, 89, of Charleston died Thursday, Sept. 10, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born May 26, 1909, at Wyatt, son of William "Billy" and Annie Duty Richardson. She and John N. "Buck" Miller were married Dec. 31, 1927. He died July 29, 1976.

Miller had worked at Charleston Schools and Charleston Manor, and was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Paul Miller of Charleston; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Elm Street Church. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
