ADVANCE, Mo. -- Mildred Hazel McIntyre, 89, of Advance passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Advance Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 3, 1924, at Malden, Mo., daughter of John T. and Mollie Mae Schrock Wallace. Mildred had worked at The Hornet's Nest restaurant in Advance. ADVANCE, Mo. -- Mildred Hazel McIntyre, 89, of Advance passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 3, 1924, at Malden, Mo., daughter of John T. and Mollie Mae Schrock Wallace.

Mildred had worked at The Hornet's Nest restaurant in Advance. She was a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Ben Hazel of Bloomfield, Mo., Bill Hazel of Advance and Charlie Hazel of Zalma, Mo.; six daughters, Louise Ford and Dorothy Sturgeon of Advance, Alice Wright of Lake Cormorant, Miss., Brenda Mc-Kenzie of Sturgis, Miss., Sharon Herkenhoff of Hazelwood, Mo., and Regina Ulloa of Patrick AFB, Fla.; a brother, Bill Wallace of Ferguson, Mo.; two sisters, Marie Hume of Vacaville, Calif., and Betty Kilhefner of Chicago; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Ronnie and Harold Hazel; a daughter, Barbara Ann Hazel; two brothers; five sisters; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dale Wiseman officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery near Morley, Mo.
