Mildred Maxine McCollum, 67, formerly of Steele, died Monday, Sept. 22, 1997, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born March 10, 1930, at Cooter, daughter of Clyde Sterling and Narvell Wingfield Robinson. She married Howard "Bo" McCollum, who preceded her in death.
McCollum was a retired insurance agent, and member of First Baptist Church at Steele.
Survivors include a son, Dennis McCollum of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Tracy Lemon of Conway, Ark.; her mother, Narvell Pounds of Steele; four brothers, Bobby and Elvis Robinson and Larry Pounds of Steele, Carlos Robinson of Yazoo City, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Steele from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael Funderburk officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
