Mildred M. Martin, 76, 2505 Ranchito, died Friday, March 25, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Dec. 18, 1917, in St. Louis, daughter of Ferdinand H. and Clara R. Bingham Manger. She and John W. Martin were married May 14, 1938, in St. Louis.
Martin attended Mary's Institute and Washington University in St. Louis. She was a home nursing chairman with American Red Cross.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and its Couples Club, active in pastoral care, Vacation Church School, and a Mother's Morning Out teacher.
Martin was a former Girl Scout leader, and had been active in Cape Community Theater and Cape Choraliers.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John Martin of Whiting, Ind.; three daughters, Barbara Harper of Cape Girardeau, Marjorie and Claire Martin of Bridgeport, Conn., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Edwin C. Brasington officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
