ARNOLD -- Mildred Lorene Straughan, 82, of Arnold, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999 at deGreef United Hospice House in Arnold.

She was born Oct. 12, 1917, at Bunker, daughter of James O. and Nora Wisdom Montgomery. She married George Straughan, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Fluegge of Jackson and Rhonda Townsend Taylor of Yarla Linda, Calif.; a sister, Geneva Hubbard of Arnold; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.

Friends may call today after 4 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Chapel in Desloge.

Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel. The Rev. Sue Watson will officiate, with burial in Parkview Cemetery.
