BLOOMFIELD -- Mildred Alice Kimbrel, 86, of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, July 30, 1996, at her home.
She was born Aug. 5, 1909, at Bloomfield, daughter of Joseph and Iva Bell Asbell Bolin. She and James "Hawk" Kimbrel were married June 4, 1927. He died June 3, 1991.
Kimbrel was a member of St. Joe General Baptist Church at Idalia.
Survivors include two sons, Donald and James Kimbrel of Bloomfield; a daughter, Francis Parks of Bloomfield; a brother, Wesley Bolin of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Don Cooper and Dan Sitz officiating. Burial will be in Rock Point Cemetery near Swinton.
