Mildred M. Heath Howard, 89, of Chesterfield, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at Friendship Village West County in Chesterfield.
She was born Sept. 19, 1919, at Kennett, Mo. She married Jack H. Howard, who preceded her in death.
Howard was formerly of Jackson.
Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca (Louis) Rayer of Palm Desert, Fla., Jane (Thomas) Oleksy of O'Fallon, Mo.; a son, Jack B. Howard of Santa Barbara, Calif.; six grandchildren, Matthew (Catherine) Rayer, Curtis (Terri) Rayer, Melinda Rayer, Timothy Oleksy, Tyler (Sandra) Oleksy and Robert Howard; six great-grandchildren, Emily, Kelsey and Shelby Rayer, Allison and Carissa Rayer and Jackson Oleksy.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Village West County, 15201 Olive Blvd., Chesterfield, where she has been a resident the past eight years. Interment will be in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 104 Scenic Highway, Haines City, Fla., 33844, or a charity of choice.
