ULLIN, Ill. - Ullin, Ill. resident Mildred Ellen Jackson, 70, died Tuesday, May 12, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 30, 1921 in Ballard County, Ky. to Gill and Eunice Magnus Holder. She married Herbert "Red" Jackson, who died Dec. 25, 1987.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ullin.

Surviving are a son, Dewayne Jackson of Ullin; a daughter, Virginia Frances Parker of Villa Ridge; sisters Bea Salto of Hurst and Gertrude Wathen of Anthony, N.M.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. The Rev. Greg Forbus will officiate. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery in Clinton, Ky.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
